Three of our older cubs attended the 2010 Southern Pathfinder, along with a Scout Patrol Leader, Bagheera, Kaa and Jonathan. The weekend camp was specially designed for 10 year old Cub Scouts, to promote an effective transition to Scouts while having lots of fun, and replaced the Cuboree for 2010. Despite the start of the camp being delayed by high winds, the cubs were able to do many exciting activities in their 'patrol' including kayaking, raft-building, face-painting, cooking bush doughnuts, badge swapping, horizontal bungee-jumping, riding on a hurdy-gurdy, watching a fire-twirler and escaping from an 'electric fence'. Our cubs were able to meet lots of other cubs from southern Tasmania, and all involved had a great time.
