The scouts had a great weekend camping 18 to 19th October to incorporate JOTA/JOTI (Jamboree of the air / Jamboree of the internet) with lots of camp craft. We went to The Lea and camped with Glenorchy, 10th Hobart, Lenah Valley, Mt Falkner and Sandy Bay. There were an amazing array of activities from scoutscraft (learn to fold the flag and do some knots), to internet and radio, to orienteering and GPS, to construction. There was also, of course, a wide game and cooking for ourselves. Everyone left the weekend happy but very tired. And the rain held off until we got home.
