In the aftermath of the floods in Queensland and elsewhere, it is apparent that Scouting facilities, including the Headquarters in Brisbane, have suffered extensive damage and some Scouting families have lost everything. Our Tasmanian Branch has started a Scout Recovery Fund to help the Queensland Branch of Scouts Australia cope with the enormous recovery task in the same way Queensland and other States, helped with the recovery in Tasmania after the 1967 Bush Fires.

If every scout member were to make a contribution to the fund it would go a long way to assisting our fellow Scouts in Queensland. Contributions can be made via direct deposit, cheque or eftpos and are tax deductible. For more details use the contact form and we can send them through, or you can call the Scout's Tasmanian Branch Headquarters on 62299385.
