Fee Structure 2021

The fees at Mount Stuart Scout Group are set by the Group Committee who have the job of making sure all costs are covered while trying to keep Scouting as affordable as possible for its members. Mount Stuart Scout fees are made up of a Scouts Tasmania fee (of which a large portion is insurance) and Mount Stuart Group fees (to cover the costs of running the program.) Camps (and some occasional outings) incur an additional cost to those who attend but all attempts are made to keep additional charges to a minimum.


Mount Stuart Scout Group stands ready to help support those facing financial challenges as a result of CV19 restrictions, and any request for financial assistance will be considered as Group funds allow.

The fee structure for 2021 is as follows:

Tasmanian Branch Registration Fee: $153 per annum (Registration lasts for one year from start date.)

Group Fees: $187 per year or $46.75 per term (no increase over 2020 fees).

Total Fees for 2021: $340 per year

These fees apply to all Sections: Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, and Venturers.

Some discounts may be applied as follows:

Additional Children: $40 discount on Group Fees per year

Children of Leaders discount and Hardship Policy (upon application): 50% discount on Group Fees (not Branch Fees)
