  • Return to in-person Scouting Mount Stuart Scout Group will return to face-to-face Scouting as of the week of Monday 15 June!All Sections will resume meeting at Mount Stuart Hall on their traditional nights and times and will operate under Tasmanian Stage 2 Recovery guidelines.Members should watch their email for updates!New families are encouraged to contact the Group to enquire about starting Scouts with Mount Stuart.   • 'WellyVent' 2019 Wellington Venturers is a combined Unit of Mount Stuart and Lenah Valley Scout Groups.It has been a great 12 months with Welly Vents and some strong numbers as we’ve had a number of Scouts from Mount Stuart come through.As usual for the Venturer age section, there are many competing commitments with sports, study, and casual jobs so there were some quiet weeks throughout the year.   • Scout Unit 2019 2019 was another great year for Mount Stuart Scout Unit.Australian Scout MedallionLily earned her Australian Scout Medallion, the peak award in Australian Scouting.Unit NumbersOur Unit numbers peaked around 29 Scouts in five Patrols during the year to finish the year year with 20 Scouts. Seven of these Scouts moved up to Venturers with only two leaving due to conflicts with other activities.One result of the Linking of so many experienced Scouts to Venturers was the average age of our Scouts dropping from around 13 to around 12, which has had an effect on our youth leadership abilities.   • 2019 Cubs Update Cub Scout Unit 2019The Cubs had a great year in 2019 as we integrated the new youth programme into the previous boomerang format.
